I began my career as a Mechanical Engineer and achieved ONC and HND qualifications. Later, I moved into IT within the Construction Industry. I started in sales and implementation but eventually worked my way up to Managing Director. My specialities included Estimating, Planned Maintenance Systems, and Design. I worked with HVAC calculation, VR, and 3D and 4D CAD using AutoCAD, MicroStation, SONATA, and Reflex.In 1999, I had the opportunity to establish a software company dedicated to serving the insurance industry. Initially based in London, focusing on the Lloyd’s Market, the company evolved into an international enterprise, extending services globally. Over the next 18 years in the insurance sector, Total Objects, under my leadership, developed solutions for brokers, carriers, and reinsurance firms. After its acquisition by DXC (formerly Xchanging) in October 2017, My career redirected back to the construction industry, taking a role at COINS, an ERP vendor. I also became Chairman at Fulcro Engineering Services, allowing me to continue my passion for CAD, 3D, and 4D modelling in construction, engineering, and education.In 2021, I co-founded Cenata, a company rapidly becoming a leader in Outward Reinsurance solutions for International Reinsurers. Cenata now serves major insurance markets, including the UK, USA, and Bermuda, collaborating with international consultancy firms.I enjoy following Leicester City and spending time with my two daughters, who share my passion for Show Jumping. This activity takes us all over the UK and Europe for the FEI International shows. We have started a breeding program in the past five years, hoping to breed several future champions after much hard work, investment, and enjoyment.Overall, I excel at building teams and starting companies. My daughters have successful business interests as Directors in their own companies, and there is never a dull moment in our household.
