- I executed company-wide efforts to create sustainable programs for transitioning service members and military veterans, with an emphasis on education and training towards meaningful employment. These programs helped military talent get aligned with career opportunities right for them, whether at Prudential or elsewhere. I oversaw the Prudential VETalent work-study program for veteran and military spouse candidates across all Prudential domestic sites resulting in 45 hires over a 12-month period. This program, run in collaboration with a non-profit partner, recruited, trained and provided OJT opportunities for specific roles within the company and aligned with hiring managers talent demands. I created and oversaw execution of our military talent strategy that enabled Prudential’s new office in El Paso, TX to have approximately 50% of hires be military veterans or military spouses. This strategy included partnering with several non-profit organizations and working with organizations on FT Bliss. - I established and executed the corporate giving strategy for military programs in the El Paso region totaling approximately $1.0M annually. This included funding to bring several new workforce development programs to the region.
