My professional experience spans several different industries. I began my career in the electrical wholesale distribution industry working for the Hartman-Spreng Co. and Furbay's Electric/Mansfield Electric in Mansfield, OH. These opportunities afforded me the ability to begin my Managing career and to better understand the necessity of good warehousing organization. I was the driving force in the reorganization of the warehouses at both facilities creating better efficiencies and reducing errors, inbound and outbound. I also spent a couple years of my career with Graybar Electric in Chattanooga, TN. After spending some limited amount of time working in counter sales for the previously listed companies, Graybar is where the true experience of inside/counter sales began.The previous experiences were over a span from 1986 to 2004 and in between those experiences, I attempted to use my skills as a golfer and moved to Hilton Head Island, SC. I quickly passed my PAT (Players Ability Test) at Pinewild GC near Pinehurst, NC. This got me into the very first version of today's GPTP (Golf Professional's Training Program). I then traveled to Phoenix, AZ. for the first level program. I worked in the industry for 4 years, from 1993 to 1997 and worked at Indigo Run Golf Club, Palmetto Dunes and Long Pointe Golf Club in Amelia Island, FL. My love for the game has never waned.The past 10 years have seen my education with Lean Management and Six Sigma and the use of KPI's to assist in the daily operation of a warehouse. Using root cause corrective action theories finding the cause of issues. I have constructed safety binders and have learned most, not all, of OSHA's regulations and have controlled costs against budgets reducing, by over $60K, of yearly expenses for Rexnord. I am currently employed with CED, Consolidated Electrical Distributors, as the Manager of our store in Delaware, OH.
