Under Jim’s watch, McKinney has become the historic leading builder in the Serenbe community and the current leading builder in the extraordinary Town at Trilith. In addition, McKinney developed and built two award winning communities known as the Village at Williams Park and the Gardens at Arbor Springs located in the City of Smyrna and Newnan, GA. Both McKinney developed communities have been awarded “Community of the Year” in their respective categories by the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association. McKinney Builders has also become one of Georgia’s most awarded home builders accumulating 60 “Obie” awards for regional home building excellence as well as being designated a Professional Builder magazine “Housing Giant” - among the top 250 builders in America by revenues for the past five years. Notably in 2024, McKinney received the 21st Annual Avid Award Cup, for the highest customer ratings for all Custom Home Builders in North America. Mr. Beveridge received a BBA in Finance from the University of Georgia and a MBA in Real Estate from Georgia State University. In addition, he was awarded the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation by the National Association of Realtors in 1992.
