I have over 30 years of experience as a labor and employment lawyer. I built my career using strategic planning, superior communication skills, and a combination of empathy, influence and a sense of humor to drive positive client outcomes. I have a proven history of leading change, minimizing risks, and driving growth in dynamic organizations. A transformative leader, I combine my legal knowledge with my strategic acumen and advise internal and external clients to enable informed decision-making.I am currently employed by Axiom and providing full time employment law services to Hilton, ranked by Fortune as the world's best workplace. Previously, as the Global Head of Employment & Immigration Law with Infosys, I oversaw all matters pertaining to employment and immigration law for this multibillion global provider of consulting and outsourcing services. I often gave advice directly to the CEO, partnering with him and his team to resolve potentially costly matters and minimize risk. Previously, I was Senior Labor and Employment counsel for General Electric. During this time, I served as a key task force member that re-engineered and implemented the company’s arbitration dispute program in compliance with legislative changes and federal laws. Prior to that time, I served as Director of Employment Law with Accenture for 13+ years. While with Accenture, I improved and empowered the employment law team, resulting in an ongoing employee engagement score of 100% for three straight years. I also defined the firm’s global workforce policies and advised on labor and union issues in the US and Canada. In addition, I was a Senior Counsel with Seyfarth Shaw, an AmLaw 100 firm (48) advising multinational corporations on labor and employment law issues. I am an Adjunct Law Professor, teaching employment law and I clerked for the Executive Magistrate Judge in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. I was elected as a Fellow in The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers in 2006.
