    I started in the drawing Office at Rippins in 1979!!Moved in to the design office in 1986 designing all types of steel frames and connections.We had the very first addition of CSC Fastrack portal frame and P Frame and I still use them today. I had the opportunity to move in to site management and engineering in 1990 working on several large city centre frames.I finished my time at Rippin with several years in the QS Department. Working on final accounts till the sad end of the firm in 94Sadly this well run company fouled but the experience gain through these year was invaluable.
