I always find the most joy in helping others in any way, shape, or form. I excel in creating long-lasting relationships, working with others (strangers or colleagues), and finding ways to solve a problem creatively. I have shown these skills through my long-lasting job at the Italian Restaurant I have been working at since I was sixteen, the time I spent in LinkCrew, which was an organization that would have upperclassmen lead underclassmen in the right direction in many aspects, and running a popular Twitter account at my high school as well as being the leader of our entire Student Section. Most recently, I have contributed my skills and dedication as a Community Assistant at The Quarters at Bloomington. In this role, I've actively engaged with residents, addressed concerns with a positive demeanor, organized events that enhance the overall living experience, and run various social media.My time at the restaurant has taught me how to deal and communicate with a wide variety of people, as well as how to stay on my toes and always foresee the unpredicted through serving many customers and having a generous amount of busy shifts. I grew up in Chicago, Illinois and I am currently a Junior at Indiana University studying Advertising and working my way toward achieving my goal of graduating from the IU School of Media.At IU, I plan to develop my skills further, as well as pick up a lot more for my professional career by studying hard and focusing on tasks that get me further to complete my ultimate goal. My ideal work environment would be somewhere where I am allowed to work with others creatively to reach a goal. I am the type of person who receives joy from leading others in the right direction. I am a firm believer in "if there's a will, there's a way", so I will never quit a task that is thrust upon me no matter how impossible said task seems. I am passionate about creating songs on my guitar or other instruments that I play, and I am always looking to learn something new whenever I get the chance. I believe that everything thrown my way is a learning opportunity and the outcome is always what you make of it.
