Founded the West Chester Story Slam, a monthly event that Main Line Today voted as "Best Entertaining Night Out"​ for 2012. Each month a different theme is chosen, and up to ten people tell their stories in front of a live audience of between 80-100 people. The stories are often funny, touching and very insightful. Over 800 stories have been told to thousands of people at our sold out shows. In addition to the live events, stories are edited and made available on video and a podcast is produced and made available through iTunes. The West Chester Story Slam takes place the second Tuesday of each month at Side Bar in West Chester, PA at 8pm. Seats often sell out early. In addition, I am the co-founder of Lancaster Story Slam, which takes place the fourth Tuesday of the month at Tellus360. I also consulted on the start up of several other community events such as York Story Slam, Harrisburg Story Slam and Lehigh Valley Story Slam. Co- founded StartUp StorySlam, Storytelling for Entrepreneurs. Our format is inspired by the popular community Story Slams but focused on hearing business stories. We want to hear stories about the successes and failures, the trials and tribulations of starting and running a business. Each event features eight to ten storytellers and is focused on a theme such as "Start with Why" or "Leap of Faith" or "Traction." Our vision is to create a worldwide community for those working in the StartUps can share their personal stories. These stories are not company pitches, but true stories that give listeners a glimpse into both the joyous and the horrible moments of being an entrepreneur. Holding a StartUp StorySlam is a unique live networking event and stories are videotaped and uploaded to the StorySlam website and YouTube to be shared with the world. Worked with network of over 60 assignment editors across the country to arrange for satellite video feeds, wrote copy, double checked facts and names. Produced live shots from events such as the 1988 Republican Convention in New Orleans, the 1988 New Hampshire Primary, and the Reagan/Gorbachev Summit.
