Head Lacrosse CoachLake Forest College Feb 2007 - Jun 2014Lake Forest, Il2013 Women's Collegiate Lacrosse League Coach of the Year2013 WCLL Semi-FinalistsCoached 4 All-American Selections in 20132014 Women's Collegiate Lacrosse League Coach of the Year2014 WCLA Division 2 National Coach of the Year FinalistI have started both the men's and women's club lacrosse programs at Lake Forest College. Our Men's program started in the spring of 2007, and joined the Great Lakes Lacrosse League in 2008. As the head coach of the men's program, I was responsible for building the program scratch. It was my responsibility to recruit a team, schedule games, and order all new equipment. Over the course of four seasons we had a record of 23-9 (.710) in GLLL conference games, and our 2008 team advanced to the conference semi-finals before losing to the University of Wisconsin. With the men's program firmly established, my focus in 2011 was to start the Women's Club Lacrosse program, and turn over the men's program to a new coach. In our first year, our women's program had tremendous success as members of the Women's Collegiate Lacrosse League, finishing with a 10-2 record in our first season. Our team recorded victories over Northwestern, Loyola University, and other members of the conference. The Foresters Women's team posted a record of 51-7 during our first four years of existence. Additionally, we had 9 Academic-All-Americans, 8 All-Americans, and over 20 All-Conference selections, including the 2013 Rookie of the Year. -
Director Of The Lake Forest College Student Work-Study ProgramLake Forest College Feb 2006 - Sep 2010Lake Forest, IlOversaw the 250 student employees, and 10 staff member supervisors. Duties included: scheduling, evaluations, payroll, and hiring procedures. In 2009-10, I helped oversee a transition to a computer based time-card system that reduced the workload of supervisors and administrators significantly. This system also allowed for better tracking of hours, budgets, and hour allotments. This was an extremely satisfying position as it brought me engagement with students outside of my normal coaching duties. -
