Volunteer with Tennessee Baptist Disaster Relief-worked in flood recovery, hurricane feeding and recovery, ice storm tree removal, rebuild homes in stricken areas, and lead units in local area to repair homes for those who could not either do it themselves or hire someone.I worked extensively in tree removal until Katrina in 2005 and lead the feeding unit in Baton Rouge LA as well as other services, directed units in Slidell LA for feeding at this time also. Lead the Tennessee feeding unit in the last hurricane in 2005 in southern Florida feeding over 35,000 hot meal at one time. Spent the majority of 120 days for the hurricanes of 2005 in the field.
