As the Payroll Coordinator , I am responsible for processing the Canadian payroll and US payroll. We have locations throughout western Canada and in Texas and Alaska. We currently have over 300+ employees and continue to grow.

At Volant Products Inc. I was the primary point for payroll for approximately 150 people spread over 5 companies. Employees are paid bi-weekly with hourlyand salary components to the payroll. My duties included onboarding new employees, processing payroll, balancing and remitting benefit and RRSP payments and calculating and posting monthly payroll accruals. Go Auto uses ADP Workforce now for payroll.

As a Payroll Administrator at Go Auto, I was part of a team of 11 that administered payroll and benefits for approximately 2700 employees. I was responsible for approximately 200 employees at 6 locations in Alberta and Ontario. Employees are paid semi-monthly with hourly, salary, day rate and commission components to the payroll. My duties included onboarding new employees, processing payroll, administering benefits and balancing and remitting benefit and WCB premiums. Go Auto uses 2 accounting systems, CDK and ADP Workforce now.

As the Payroll Administrator, I am solely responsible for all aspects of payroll and benefits of approximately 50 employees as well as advising management on payroll procedures and labour standards. I am also involved on the on-boarding of new employees. Scheffer Andrew Ltd. is an engineering firm with several locations across Alberta. Scheffer Andrew Ltd. uses 2 accounting systems, BillQuick and QuickBooks.

As the Senior Payroll Administrator, I am responsible for ensuring that all the payroll and benefit needs are met for employees and management. I am also the main point of contact in the payroll department when the Payroll Manager is away. DFI is a fast growing company that has 500+ employees in BC, SK and AB with occasional work in the United States. DFI uses an in-house accounting system called explorer.

As the Payroll Administrator, I was the sole person responsible for all Payroll Needs of 150+ employees and for management. At Raven Truck Accessories I completed all aspects of payroll for hourly, salaried and commissioned employees, was a liaison for employees regarding pay and benefits and advised management on labour standards, negotiations with benefit companies and WCB. During my time at West End Nissan, I worked on all aspects of accounting and developed my love for the payroll field. As the Office Manager I was responsible a team of 3 employees who completed all AP, AR and payroll functions. I also assisted the Controller in preparing financial statements for management and for the manufacturer.
