I was employed by the District Attorney’s Office in the capacity of an Investigator. My experience includes investigating a wide range of crimes, and assisting the prosecutors with trial preparation. I predominately investigated felony level crimes against children, including cases of seriously bodily injury child abuse and sexual assaults against children. I also performed child pornography and underage undercover chat investigations/stings. Further, I mentored and led officers throughout my district in investigating complicated and multilayered felony investigations. I enjoyed the challenge of the position, and the reward of solving cases, especially those with child victims.

I was employed by the Sterling Police Department in the capacity of a detective. Previous to becoming a detective, I was a patrol officer for approximately two and a half years. My experience includes investigating a wide range of crimes, including working as the lead detective on a homicide case, for which I received a commendation from the chief. I primarily investigated felony level sexual crimes against children. My work was largely autonomous and I was responsible for the organization and execution of my investigative work. I enjoyed the challenge of the position, and the reward of solving cases, especially those with child victims.
