The Head of e-Learning is responsible for leading and managing the planning, implementation and review of the College’s e-Learning Program and management of information Systems. The three main areas of the role are:• Managing the decision process of e-learning resources of both hardware and software for the College both for curriculum and network info structure needs• Manage the delivery of Staff Professional development in the area of e-learning• Systems management of key networked systems of the CollegeThe Head of e-Learning/Systems Manager also • actively collaborates with the Principal to promote and enhance the Catholic identity of the College and the Mercy Ethos and to ensure that all College practices and procedures reflect the Vision, Mission and Values of the College• provides positive leadership as the College endeavours to fulfil its educational mission. • shares in the task of promoting a sense of unity and community within the College where all members are treated with dignity and respect. • takes a leadership role in the integration and innovative use of technology across the College• supports Heads of Departments and individuals to deal constructively with change and to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change.
