Jim is a 29 year veteran in the securities industry. He is a General Securities Principal with Ausdal Financial Partners, and the former Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of PEB Financial Group in Chicago. He holds the Certified Financial Planner designation and is a Registered Investment Advisor.Since 1990, Jim has been a member of the Board of Directors of Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC), the parent of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, Texas, New Mexico, Montana and Oklahoma. He was previously a Board Member of HMO Illinois, Inc., and Fort Dearborn Life Insurance, Co. beginning in 1979. In this capacity, he has served as Chair of the Finance and the Compensation Committees and currently serves on the Audit Committee, Compensation and Finance Committees.Jim began his financial career in 1970 at the Board of Education, City of Chicago, where he served in numerous financial management and executive positions over his 16 year career. In 1968, he earned his BS Degree in Accounting from Lewis University.His philanthropic activities include being a Member of the Board of Regents of Mercy Home for Boys and Girls, Board Chair of Special Olympics Illinois, and the Founder and President of the Stack Family Foundation.He is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors, Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., and the Financial Planning Association.Jim and his family live in Chicago’s Beverly neighborhood on the Southwest side.
