• Consolidated leadership of US Factories and oversaw double-digit volume growth and triple-digit profit growth. Reorganized and re-energized Maine factories increasing productivity and output significantly with little increase in overhead cost and no growth in headcount.

• Led Merger & Acquisition function in the Americas and completed more acquisitions and license deals than any other global region. • Project-led the conversion of Brazil sales organization from external distributor to direct sales. Included extensive regulatory and governmental work as well as facilities and staffing in a challenging business environment. Brazil is now leading global growth for Molnlycke.• Led the due-diligence and integration of Sundance Solutions in Indianapolis, IN and spent a year leading that organization through reorganization, integration, relocation and growth before installing a Factory Manager and coming back to Maine to lead all US factories.

• Negotiated and completed sale of Rynel Inc. to Molnlycke in 2010. Spun-off two subsidiaries and successfully represented all employees, external customers, investors and board members through the process while maintaining excellent relations with acquirer. • Led local project to compete for, locate, finance and construct additional 80,000 sq. ft. Molnlycke factory in Maine. Identified site, architect & engineering partner and general contractor. • Negotiated local financing including State & Federal New Market Tax Credits and property tax TIF. The resulting factory is the most advanced/automated wound dressing manufacturing plant in the world.

Wiscasset, Maine

• Assumed leadership position under significant turn-around conditions and led Rynel to double-digit growth and profitability within 18 months. • Managed company through bank work-out, refinanced subordinated debt and line of credit, brought in new investors and rebuilt management team.• Sponsored and drove transition to ISO-9001 and ISO 13485 quality certifications. Managed all intellectual property functions for significant R&D function. • Led design, construction and start-up of new manufacturing facility in Wiscasset that doubled capacity and lowered total cost through overhead absorption, productivity and energy efficiency.• Managed new business development and was account manager for largest sales account (Molnlycke). International sales grew from single digits to approximately 50% of overall sales and Rynel became the supplier to most of the world’s wound dressing companies.
