In this role I am responsible for producing and maintaining the Transformation Programme and wider Companies House (CH) Portfolio delivery plans and driving improvements in project and scheme scheduling.I am responsible for producing planning and scheduling documentation to support and inform on both the Companies House 5-year strategy, and the Transformation Delivery Directorates business case.I create and maintain an improved Delivery Plan for the Organisations inflight projects/schemes, tracking progress and forecast delivery dates along with key delivery milestones. This information is used to provide fortnightly updates on Transformation Programme progress to the Executive Board and Senior Leadership Team. I am responsible for highlighting dependencies within the Transformation Programme and assist Project Managers to record and manage these effectively to increase the chances of successful delivery.I provide coaching and mentoring to Project Managers on scheduling best practice using MS Project or TPG Scheduler, demonstrating how to use project schedules to improve project management and increase the chance of successful project delivery.I provide scheduling accuracy through reviews of business cases and exception reports that improve schedule deliverability and reduce the need for mid-phase baseline changes. I am also responsible for improving scheduling maturity by 12% across the Project Centre by introducing minimum maturity requirements and creating checklists which are used to perform regular health checks and ensure ongoing compliance.
