In this role I am responsible for producing and maintaining the Transformation Programme and wider Companies House (CH) Portfolio delivery plans and driving improvements in project and scheme scheduling.I am responsible for producing planning and scheduling documentation to support and inform on both the Companies House 5-year strategy, and the Transformation Delivery Directorates business case.I create and maintain an improved Delivery Plan for the Organisations inflight projects/schemes, tracking progress and forecast delivery dates along with key delivery milestones. This information is used to provide fortnightly updates on Transformation Programme progress to the Executive Board and Senior Leadership Team. I am responsible for highlighting dependencies within the Transformation Programme and assist Project Managers to record and manage these effectively to increase the chances of successful delivery.I provide coaching and mentoring to Project Managers on scheduling best practice using MS Project or TPG Scheduler, demonstrating how to use project schedules to improve project management and increase the chance of successful project delivery.I provide scheduling accuracy through reviews of business cases and exception reports that improve schedule deliverability and reduce the need for mid-phase baseline changes. I am also responsible for improving scheduling maturity by 12% across the Project Centre by introducing minimum maturity requirements and creating checklists which are used to perform regular health checks and ensure ongoing compliance.

In this role I was responsible for providing PMO assurance and governance to the organisation’s portfolio of complex and high-profile projects. This included reviewing business cases, facilitating lessons learned workshops and performing regular health checks on project risk, assumptions, issues and dependencies and project plans, which supports the successful delivery of projects to scope, cost and time.I provided secretariat support to the Delivery Board, assisting with agenda setting, gathering papers ahead of the meeting, taking minutes and publishing approved minutes.I led fortnightly review of project status reports, working collaboratively with key stakeholders in the Transformation Delivery Directorate to ensure the information provided was accurate. I then performed data analysis on the performance of the Portfolio’s inflight projects which supported decision making at Executive and Senior Leadership Team level.I supported continuous improvement of the Transformation Directorate by actively searching for ways to improve its processes. I co-led the Community of Practice, working collaboratively with colleagues in the Directorate and using personal knowledge and experience to identify, develop and share best practice on project management processes, tools and templates, and benchmarking against industry standards.

As a Project Manager for one of the Police Services in the UK, I was responsible for leading cross functional, multi-disciplined teams to deliver business improvements across all workstreams of the organisation that supported the organisation's strategy.My key achievement in this role was project managing the successful review of the Criminal Investigation Department, CID, and subsequently implementing changes that brought about improvements and efficiencies in the running of the Branch. This was the first review of CID since it was formed and subsequently it was far ranging and I was personally responsible for analysing and making recommendations on staffing levels, sickness and absenteeism, classification, and ownership for types of crimes.

In this role I led project teams that designed and implemented logistics solutions to increase operational efficiency and reduce cost by improving layout design, space planning, internal flow design, transportation, and plan for every part. As the subject matter expert on logistics planning and design I also mentored in logistic principles across multiple divisions of the organisation.As the Logistic Departments Health and Safety champion I led best practise in local logistics standard operating procedures and during the Covid-19 pandemic I was credited with producing new operating procedures to take in account social distancing etc., which were subsequently adopted by Caterpillar factories throughout EAME.

Responsible for growing Scooter Specialist NI from an initial business idea into one of Northern Ireland’s leading and established motorcycle/scooter dealerships for 9 leading brands, generating an annual 6-figure turnover. Expanded the initial business model into a lifestyle business that incorporated clothing, safety equipment and memorabilia merchandise as an addition to the established scooter and motorcycle sales, repairs and spare parts. Through my leadership and the support of my team, working collectively together I drove a culture of excellence in all aspects of the business, including customer service, which is evidenced through winning multiple awards in customer service.- Belfast Business Award Winner for Excellence in Customer Service, 2015- AJS Dealer of Excellence Award Winners, 2016 and 2017 - Belfast Business Award Runner Up for Excellence in Customer Service, 2017

As Senior Process Engineer I led a multi-cultural and diverse team of Technicians and Engineers in a high volume and fast paced production environment which operated 24 hours a day, 365 day a year. I was the Senior Responsible Owner for both the lead/tin (90Nm) and copper (65Nm) electroplating technologies, leading co-ordinated manufacturing, and engineering activities such as setting daily priorities, working collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure minimal disruption to productivity because of equipment and process upgrades, and excursion prevention and management.I was Chairperson of the Electroplating Global Working Group and as such I was responsible for the electroplating department achieving its operational KPI’s in quality, productivity, equipment availability etc, which involved collaborative working with Intel’s global suppliers and Intel Engineers throughout America, Europe, and China to identify and develop both process and equipment improvements.

As the Senior Technician for both the lead/tin (90Nm) and copper (65Nm) electroplating technologies, I was the on-shift area coordinator, responsible for managing the efficient running of day-to-day operations within the department and for leading a diverse and multi disciplined team of technicians.Amongst my routine tasks I was responsible for planning and successfully implementing NPI’s on the automated electroplating tools, chemical analysis tools and other associated analytical tools, for both technologies.I supported Electroplating Process Engineers in developing process improvements by designing and running experiments that identified areas for improvement, (increased productivity), in the electroplating processes.

In this role I was responsible for managing the day-to-day logistical operations of the distribution depot, and for managing a team of derivers and yard operators. I helped to grow the business from initial start-up into an established business, selling and distributing of gases and other dangerous goods across Northern Ireland and Scotland.My key achievement was being a member of the project team responsible for initially setting up the Air Products’ Distribution Depot in Northern Ireland, (the companies first venture into Northern Ireland), and for commissioning the depot into service three months ahead of schedule. I was also credited with the depot receiving ISO 9001 accreditation within the first year of being up and running.

In this role I was responsible for maintaining a fleet of approximately 500 specialist vehicles and for managing a diverse and multi skilled team of mechanical and electrical engineers.My key achievement in this role was restructuring the main workshop into separate workflows and assigning engineers to each of them based upon their skills and experience. This resulted in a 12% reduction in vehicle servicing times.
