Jim serves as a principal and financial advisor at CAPTRUST, an employee-owned, independent investment research and fee-based advisory firm. Jim specializes in providing retirement plan consulting and investment advisory services to clients nationwide. Jim co-leads the CAPTRUST Allentown team, located in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley. Together, the team serves both qualified and non-qualified retirement plan committees, sponsors, and participants at public and private corporations and higher education institutions. Jim is certified as an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) by the Center for Fiduciary Studies in association with the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business. Jim has significant experience advising defined contribution, defined benefit, and non-qualified deferred compensation plan clients in the areas of fiduciary process management, plan design, investments, recordkeeper oversight, and participant financial wellness and retirement planning advice. The CAPTRUST Allentown team has been recognized on a number of industry lists, including the Financial Times Top 401 Advisors and the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA) Top DC Advisor Teams lists. The team has also earned the distinguished honor of being ranked on the Barron’s list of Top 50 Institutional Consultants. Jim is a graduate of King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.
