Jim Foo is the Executive Director for Stikeman Elliott’s Vancouver office. As a member of the Management Committee, he is responsible for identifying and advising on emerging strategic and operational issues. He provides leadership and direction to all the administrative and financial functions for the Vancouver office, including: business planning and strategy, finance, technology, human resources, infrastructure, marketing, business processes and operations.Prior to joining Stikeman Elliott in 2000, Jim started as a public accountant in 1986 with KPMG (Singapore) and subsequently with Price Waterhouse Coopers (Montréal). He has over 20 years of law firm experience and has been involved in all aspects of accountancy, financial and operation management.Jim Foo's education background includes a Bachelor of Accountancy (National University of Singapore) and a Masters of Business Administration (Concordia University). Professionally, he is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA, CGA). He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Australia and the Institute of Chartered Accontants of Singapore (FCA).
