Christened in 1995 ; being hired as charter manager for a 135 operation as a result of being assigned, during my MBA studies; to write a business plan on opening a commuter airline at the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Airport. I have never left aviation since. Our initial claim to fame was managing fuel inventories for several 121 airlines, setting up landing rights and ground handling for Foreign air carriers, and doing a lot of junket flights through our on-demand outlets. In 2005 we started a project to gain DOT and ARC approval to put charter flight inventory on the classic GDS systems to sell charters "by the seat." We now distribute both through internet channels and also direct through travel agent portals enabling customers to purchase E-tickets on charter flights that are published similar to major airline carriers. In 2015 we have elected to finally create our first true brand under a concept that we call "SKY" brands and affiliations. Our Carrier code is "P1" from IATA and we look forward to developing a network of unique routes and flight experiences that will counter the difficult experiences that passengers have traveling today through condensed hubs and challenged service.
