Whether it is refreshing a strategic vision, improving programming for higher impact, discovering new messaging for fundraising, streamlining back office operations, identifying reporting formats to make effective management decisions, or simply taking on house projects, I am very curious and have an affinity to identify how to make things better. As an entrepreneur, I have learned the value of asking “what if…” and “how could this work…” to encourage a growth mindset open to sharing ideas of possibility, innovation, and creativity for problem solving. These characteristics were in action when creating the Denver Kids action plan to acquire Denver Urban Scholars resulting in improved programming and a reduction in the service delivery cost and most recently while responding to the COVID-19 crisis when we were able to maintain all programming. I believe in our collective human potential; this is why, as an executive leadership coach, I partner with leaders who are interested in personal development to improve performance. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to be of service to some remarkable people. Since 2016, I applied my entrepreneurial background and organizational development knowledge at Denver Kids. I am excited to share that the financial goals to provide sustainability and the foundation for program improvement were achieved. Given that, I recently resigned as the CEO and am looking for the next meaningful role that utilizes my solution-driven approach that contributes to the overall improvement and growth of an organization. In my spare time, I love laughing with my family, finding new adventures and have passion for travel, the outdoors, photography, learning about new ideas and other cultures, and giving back to the community. I am currently the Board Secretary of the Social Venture Partners Denver and also serve on the DEI committee. I try to live by the popular guidance to think deeply, speak gently, love much, laugh a lot, work hard, give freely, and be kind.Specialties: Organizational development, organizational growth, team building, operations, finance, budget management, executive coaching, facilitation, staff training, turnaround management, strategic planning & execution, fundraising, business development, change management, nonprofit mergers & acquisitions, consulting & partnering, communications & marketing, public speaking, governance and board relations, project management
