I was made redundant in June 2020 from the drilling industry and since then I have completed various online course's to fill in the gaps in training & outside of my position’s requirements. Along with my gained transferable skills It will hopefully allow me to be considered for a position in Decommissioning or Energy renewables industry. I have recently enrolled in an online NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety program with the view to a role in Health & Safety and share my offshore learnings & experience's. I am currently available for offshore positions in a Junior-Drillers or A/D position, working locally or internationally on any equal time Rota. I would also welcome the opportunity to acquire new skills for a career change and I would consider proposals or offers outside my offshore Drilling experience.For the last seven years I have been working as a Trainee Driller on a six-generation drillship the Stena Icemax, from shipyard to present. Previously I held the position of Driller for 2 ½ years (North Sea) on the Stena Spey. I have experience in various drilling operations including extended reach and horizontal wells, Workover’s, Well-testing, Coring, coil-tubing, Running E.S.P, H.S.P, Gravel pack and completions. More recently I completed 2 wells with full DNV-GL approved MPD rig up. By working internationally I have gained experience in Deepwater, Harsh environment and deep well projects on sixth generation drillships as well as a practical understanding of cyber chair drilling on a ram rig.I have been involved in various rig S.P.S work schedules and shipyard projects including new build start up & commissioning. This has led to me organizing and performing drilling package projects/operations, as well as training and maintaining the competence assurance of new crewmembers, creating new rig specific procedures and risk assessments. I have also supervised planned maintenance schedules and updated the P.M system. As part of my normal operations I have ensured performed operations comply with all current safety management systems, company policies and procedures, ensuring client procedures are implemented within those criteria’s.I have a working experience mainly of NOV systems, but have worked with Continental-Emsco and Maritime hydraulics drilling packages, which are common on third-generation vessels.
