Particular strengths include designing monthly reporting packages, streamlining the cash management process, improving the accuracy of short term earnings forecasts and preparing annual budgets and multi-year business plans. Worked periodically from 2012 to 2017 for Tyndale Advisors, a management consulting and marketing firm serving Hardware Stores, Home Centers, and Lumberyards. Handled various special projects including sale leaseback evaluations, credit agreement negotiations and M&A negotiations and analysis. Worked on a full-time basis for Tyndale for much of 2016 and 2017 evaluating the potential for rolling up the highly fragmented Lumberyard space.

During my tenure, Dollar General was a 7,000 store chain with revenues of $7 billion. Led Dollar General through a successful restatement of its' financial statements. Implemented numerous internal control enhancements to reestablish the Company's financial reporting credibility. Led quarterly earnings conference calls with equity investors, communicated with the rating agencies regarding our outstanding public debt and attended numerous bank syndicate meetings. Personally drafted the M,D & A section of the Company's 10-Q's and 10-K's. Provided oversight for various treasury department projects including establishing a target capital structure, initiating a stock repurchase program and drafting a dividend policy.

Largest parking lot operator in the world with over 4,000 locations and $700 million in revenues at the time. Was hired as CFO after Central Parking had been through a difficult year end from an accounting process standpoint due to acquisition integration issues. I strengthened the financial closing practices and also redesigned the monthly reporting package.

Start-up car retailing entity wholly owned by General Motors. We purchased 40 auto dealerships before GM decided to discontinue the concept. Prepared a standard monthly reporting package for GM and assisted in drafting SEC documents for a public offering that never happened.

$2 billion in revenues, 160 store supermarket chain 83% owned by KKR at the time. Prepared the Company's first ever "bottoms up" budget with input from every store manager.Negotiated numerous amendments to a $500 million credit agreement. Made presentations to the debt rating agencies. Prepared numerous monthly reports for the KKR controlled board. Negotiated a number of M&A transactions, both buy and sell.

$5 billion in revenues, 2,500 store drug chain now part of CVS. In addition to being the CFO for 1 year, I also held the following positions: SR VP of Real Estate and Development (2 years), VP and Treasurer (5 years) and Assistant Treasurer (1 year). Did a lot of M&A work, both buy and sell. Negotiated numerous credit agreements and prepared the Company's annual budget and 5 year business plan.
