I have over 10 years of extensive practical experience working in the charity and education sectors. This encompasses one to one mentoring and classroom based workshops delivered to a broad cross section of society including in schools and prisons, PRUs, refugees and asylum seekers, people experiencing homelessness, longterm unemployed and those with mental health challenges. With Street League, School of Hard Knocks, Street Soccer and now at Switchback, I have found find motivation through the sense of purpose that I get from enabling people to make positive changes in their lives as by proxy that lends a sense of purpose to my own life as I share many of the experiences of the people who I've worked directly with.Why shouldn't everybody - no matter who or what they are - have the same opportunities for a meaningful life? However that may look to them?
