I have been able to provide help to several organisations to implement positive changes and manage projects successfully, particularly (though not exclusively) around procurement.Those projects include:-• setting up Aftermarket parts supply function for a new OEM,• coaching and developing the Procurement Management Team,• Legal Contracts negotiation for Series Parts supply, and Aftermarket supply (for 2 different OEM customers),• creating a structured project management approach for cross funtional teams,• implementing controls and processes to support managing a third party company to develop and source tier one parts, My previous proven contribution includes:-• Integral part of the Senior Management Team• Manage a team of 40 project managers and data specialists• Ensured all Tier 1 parts are developed to Honda’s Quality standards in line with the new model development schedule, and Cost & Investment standards, to achieve global profit targets.• Responsible for the overall governance and management of the annual £2.0Bn Tier 1 direct parts spend, and the Divisional Operating Expense of £60M• Created strategic direction for the Honda UK Manufacturing Procurement & Logistics Division Other projects and achievements:• Supported the successful implementation of centralised indirect procurement across Europe. • Regularly run highly acclaimed supplier events for circa 300 board level delegates from across Honda European supplier network as well as contributing as a keynote speaker.• Active member of the Honda Global Sourcing Committee responsible for developing global procurement policy guidelines which are now accepted across all regions• Ensured all Supplier legal contracts are in place, including negotiating with both supplier legal and commercial areas, and kept up to date with the latest Corporate Social responsibility considerations.
