Moving the health district to a cloud based environment for HR, Finance, Archiving/Public Records. Designing and developing new reports for SQL Server health department functions as well as assuming management for IT office functions. Using Crystal Reports to update invoicing process. Investigated, Proposed and Developed fleet management project which will save approximately $300,000. Using Mapping software to develop food inspection assignments and localize areas of concern in Snohomish County. Recently completed financial software release to Cloud application which had been stalled for over 2 years.

 Led the development of both web-based and instructor-based training courses.  24x7 support for multiple databases including test and development. Managed GDS technical staff both locally and remote (Mumbai) for the Databases. Setting up and monitoring project requirements and goal progression, mentoring analysts as they provided 24x7 support.  Created a customized UNIX based scheduling system to automate all loading and reporting processes. Reduced the new oncall DBA training period by 25%. Identified space allocation issues which crippled production processing, created solution to automatically and efficiently add sufficient space to databases before an error occurred, reducing our nighttime production load failures by 80%. Set up data storage monitoring process with predictive capabilities to notify management well before additional storage would be required. Provided ‘no surprises’ for space considerations in budget. Selected as part of the WAMU/CHASE transition team (Top 10%) to move data from multiple data warehouses (Oracle and Teradata) to storage facilities to meet federal and legal requirements  Converted a 30 day manual data extraction, compression and transmission process for the WAMU/JP Morgan data transfer to a single automated process with automatic monitoring

Consultant to Washington Mutual Bank. The first full time data warehouse technician. Developed the unix scheduling system which handled all data loading, messaging, and database maintenance functions. Developed most of the standards and processes used by the data warehouse from 1998 to 2009.
