Led business development effort for determining strategy and timing for rolling out Sephora concept into Latin America and numerous expansions of DFS Group’s presence in Europe.

Led 1,400-store chain in US, selling junior’s and young men’s clothing through season of difficult bankruptcy. Restructured organization, closed underperforming stores, developed new business strategy, refinanced company’s working capital line and handed off financially stable and improving company to new management team.

Brought into Macy’s during challenging operational turnaround and bankruptcy.Developed the strategy required to turn company’s business profitable.Implemented the changes as part of Executive Committee of Macy’s West, a $3,000,000,000 division of Macy’s.Led negotiating team with Macy’s creditors to emerge from bankruptcy and complete sale of company to Federated Department Stores.
