Has held Coast Guard Captain licenses as well as professional fishing & hunting guide licenses in Alaska, Montana & Idaho. Has managed remote fishing and hunting lodges in Alaska, been the General Manager & Marketing Director of the American offices of several large Peacock Bass fishing and eco-tour companies located in Brazil's Amazon. Jim is an award winning photographer & book author. Played professional baseball from 1967 - 1986 for 6 Major League teams, was named to American League All Star teams in 1977, 78 & 79 & was named the American League Relief Pitcher of the year in 1979 while playing for the Texas Rangers. Spent 1969 - 1975 as a member of the United States Marine Corps.
