I want to be in every meeting where the topic is “How do we make this better?” I am invigorated by helping cultivate environments where A-players thrive and C-players don’t last. I am a big fan of the Fast Company article “Why We Hate HR.” HR's primary goal should be improving operational success through people. If your experience with HR involves administratrivia, roadblocks to productivity, and cookie-cutter problem solving, you are missing out on what the right HR leadership could do for you.Beyond HR, I am a fan of making lists and checking things off. I have almost achieved my goal of finishing a marathon in all 50 states - just one to go! I have an extensive bucket list I am regularly shortening…except when I’m adding to it. (If you need a plus one to the next Academy Awards, connect with me immediately! That one is TOUGH.) I don’t believe in reincarnation, so my plan is to do it all and see it all while I can. Life is for living.
