Responsible for Quality leadership and performance of PSG GR a $107 MM manufacturing operation producing Vane Pumps, Gear Pumps, Centrifugal Pumps, Compressors and unitized assemblies for the aforementioned. Manage a department of (13) Quality Engineers, Supplier Quality Engineers and Quality Specials across (3) shifts. We serve both internal and external customers guiding the organization to ensure that products continuously exceed customer expectations the first time and every time. PSG-GR was incorporated in 1903 and is a leading manufacturer serving commercial, military and marine markets.

Serve as champion of the Quality Team of nine members in two plants generating $26 MM in sales. Accountable for meeting Key Performance Metrics in the Quality area. Execute Team Member Development Plans. Level workloads and set priorities. Project Manage. Support the various disciplines within the organization to achieve Plant Goals and Objectives. Recommend/approve Procedures. Conduct Internal Audits to ensure standards are met. Lead team in CAR's using root cause tools. Participate in Supplier Development Activities.

Responsible for APQP-PPAP documentation. Assemble and submit PPAP documentation. Drive resolution of any exceptions. Develop control plans, work instructions, gage concepts. Responsible for managing gage builds produced internally or at suppliers. Develop PPAP requirements for suppliers and disposition PPAP submissions. Customer focused. Conduct monthly plant visits at customers to develop relationships and address concerns early as well as work together to continuously improve. Work closely with Engineering, Tool Room and Production to solve issues. Conduct CAR's using root cause analysis. Disposition nonconforming product. Review and evaluate customer returns and take appropriate action.

Work closely with customers and suppliers to achieve designs for manufacturing of interior wood trim components for automotive applications. Experience with die cast aluminum, metal stamping, plastic injection molding, fixture and gage design, compression molding, solid wood and veneer craft and finishing. Responsible for prototype builds, drawings, model review and refinement. Write, distribute and track work order progress. Write ECO's. Support customer meetings and influence design reviews to facilitate manufacturability. Recommend improvements based on best practices. Participate in prototype build up and review/lessons learned.

Responsible for final assembly CAD as well as component and raw material drawings for Engine Cooling Systems for the Heavy Duty Truck Market. Use GD&T to specify dimensional requirements. Completed FEA and Vibration Test Modeling with Pro-Mechanica software. Specify, procure, and assemble fan drives to support customer builds. Review discrepant materials and disposition. Specify or refine assembly work instructions. Gained knowledge in roller bearing applications, ductile and grey iron castings, aluminum die castings and machining of said products.
