I led the HARIBO of America Manufacturing technical engineering, procurement, logistics, and finance teams of equipment procurement and installation for the new factory start-up. Responsible for managing $150M budget, planning, coordination with contractors, installation planning of kitchen and production equipment, including the installation project management for 13 individual packaging lines between November 2022 and November 2023. I coached the team, developed KPIs, metrics, and coordinated continuous improvement projects, Value Stream Map, presented weekly and monthly project status updates to senior leadership teams, key stakeholders, for the overall project plan, and key capital projects.

Directed and coordinated project management and engineering activities that must occur between cross-functional teams including Marketing, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Sales, and RegulatoryInnovator in the study of meld line formation in cylindrical plastic injection molded components. Eliminated stress cracks formed along meld lines by replacing LDPE with a high tensile strength LLDPE. The implemented material change saved $500k annually by eliminating excessive release testing and assembled part rejectsCompleted a $3.3M Lean Manufacturing program to save $1.1M annually. Replaced 15 medical components by validating new part designs. Directed five engineers responsible to build seven plastic injection molds. Design owner who verified that all design verification activities and Design History Files were completed. Led weekly project updates to senior management. Saved $830k annually by managing a $1.1M mold transfer project. Moved 14 injection molds from an external supplier to an in-house manufacturing plant. Directed the mold approval process for each part. Verified all that Operational Qualification OQ and Process Qualification PQ actions are completed.

Supported five primary manufacturing plants with expertise in molding, extrusion and assembly of medical devices into finished product. Plastic injection molding experience of engineering resins such as; ABS, PVC, Polycarbonate, Polypropylene, LDPE, and HDPE.Insights into high speed and continuous motion automation assembly, ultrasonic welding, UV and solvent bonding.

Increased sales by $4M by creating three new devices for the Japan market. Responsible for the modification of an existing design, purchasing a new injection mold, and verified the new product met customer requirements. Saved $200k and avoided future quality complaints by implementing a manufacturing location change from a contract manufacturer to an in-house manufacturing plant. Introduced a new ultra violet bonding process for the manufacturing site, tested all product and customer requirements, and implemented 11 new manufacturing specifications and bills of material.Created customer requirements and verifies that requirements are met by testing protocols, and manufacturing process validations. Created design dFMEAs / process pFMEAs for five medical devices and eight product device history files. Eliminated quality complaints from two medical devices and saved $125k annually by re-designing the part’s dimension and molding material. Created a two-port junction by changing the injection molding material, designing the part longer, and purchased a new injection mold.

Instructed 3rd year college students in the study of Leadership and Management. Prepared over 30 motivating and instructive lesson presentations including "situational" leadership, team building, problem solving, presentation skills, and quality management. Supervised 120 students – provided each feedback regarding their strengths, weaknesses, and their progress at achieving their training goals.Evaluated all students’ public speaking and writing skills by critiquing their presentations and reports.

Managed a top line fighter aircraft engine production, testing, training, and configuration. Restructured jet engine build manufacturing schedules; resulting in earlier than scheduled delivery dates.Responsible for oversight and execution of a $238 million dollar product support contract. Led an audit team responsible for reviewing 12,000 engine maintenance repairs. The team identified 4,000 incidents not repaired or replaced according to contract
