I began my studies in Civil Engineering at the University of Cincinnati. However, I decided to switch gears and pursue my passion of Architecture at the University of Kentucky, where I earned a Bachelor of Architecture and I obtained a Master of Architecture Degree from Columbia University, with a specialty in Urban Design.I began my career working for various firms in New York City before I move to Connecticut and formed my own company, Lancaster Associates Architects, in 1981. Within the last year, I restructured my business and formed Lancaster Architecture, LLC. Currently, we are designing residential homes, retail facilities and office interiors.I hold a license in New York, Connecticut and now Florida. I am further certified with the NCARB (National Council of Architectural Registration Boards), which means I am qualified to be licensed in any state. I am an active member of both the national chapter of AIA (American Institute of Architects) and the Connecticut Chapter.
