• Project title: Analysis of Krill Locomotion for the Development of Bioinspired Underwater Robots
• Formulated a dynamic overset mesh model with user-defined functions in ANSYS Fluent to replicate a swimming krill’s limbs paddling through water

• Project title: Structural Design and Development of Microsatellite
• Converted complex 3D CAD models into more simplified geometries to increase computational efficiency while ensuring enough detail to maximise accuracy

• Project title: Nozzle Head Design and Simulation for higher interlayer strength of 3D-Printed Concrete
• Designed several nozzle heads for 3D concrete printing using an iterative design process with SOLIDWORKS and ANSYS fluent
• Innovated a new design that reliably controlled the shape of the printed layer and increased pressure on the layer interface by 174.5%
• Validated simulated results with a physical experiment which showed an 85.4% increase in yield strength of the printed concrete structure

• Project title: Design and simulation of electro-mechanical system for Aerospace Applications
• Collected data from several ANSYS Fluent simulations and compiled it for use in a quasi-steady analysis
• Designed several reed valves and analyzed their performance using dynamic remeshing simulations

• Project title: Cooling module development for fiber laser system based on thermoelectric technology
• Explored novel designs for flexible thermoelectric coolers and tested them by soldering small samples and evaluating performance with a thermal camera
• Presented findings at the Singapore Science and Engineering Fair (SSEF 2016)
