Collins Aerospace - Cedar Rapids, Iowa March 2004 to December 2019 ○ Hardware Lead for the Boeing 777X and Bombardier C-Series Flight ControlComputer - Led a seven-person team to develop this DO-254 safety critical product. - Planned the hardware development. - Led weekly schedule/status meetings with design team and production. - Tracked performance using Earned Value technique. - Developed DO-254 artifacts including the hardware development andverification plan, hardware requirements document, hardware verificationprocedure, plan for hardware aspects of certification and the hardware accomplishment summary. - Organized and led the preliminary and critical design reviews with the customer. - Led State of Involvement (SOI) meetings with the certification agency. - Led weekly meeting with the customer to report status and clarify requests for deliverables. - Managed the initial hardware build and subsequent hardware upgrades.

Design Engineer for the Next Generation Avionics Products Display - Created schematic diagrams and printed wiring board layout.- Design consisted of: • Three Power PC 460 processors • PCI Express Network connecting all three processors • Ethernet network for on & off board communication • Program, DDR, and NVM memory for each processor- Created the embedded test software in C.

Future Combat Systems (FCS) Processor Development Team - Worked with Program Management and other teams to coordinate the development of three processing resources intended to be common across the military’s FCS platforms.- Performed bidding, scheduling, budgeting and performance tracking on the processor development team. - Reported weekly progress to customer using Earned Value techniques- Developed the requirements specifications for the FCS common processing modules.- Developed requests for information (RFI) and requests for quotes (RFQ) for the common processing modules and interacted with the suppliers.

* Upgraded products to provide competitive functionality and performance.
