    My role is to set strategic market access and channel vision for Upjohn’s portfolio of off-patent products. This was a new role when I took it on and I was faced with the challenge of building our strategy from the ground up. I created 2 platforms, one for market access and another for channel management. Through these operational platforms my team created tens of millions of dollars in revenue and cost savings. One of my proudest achievements was growing Upjohn’s federal business by over $100M. When I started in this role, Upjohn did not bid on federal contracts due to the high level of complexity and oversight. I saw an opportunity to boost our revenue and took over financial accountability for this channel. Based on my efforts, we secured $83M in tender bids, including a $68M government contract for Detrol LA. On the market access side, my team created innovative HCP access campaigns for 13 post-LOE brands that met/exceeded pre-LOE ROI targets of 3:1 and proved the viability of pull-through on post-LOE brand medications. Initially, I was the sole contributor in this division with no subordinates and no budget. However, my tenacity and creative problem solving quickly expanded the division to include 2 FTEs and a flexible team of subject matter experts. I was also selected to participate in a competitive 9-month worldwide business development and innovation fellowship. There I had the opportunity to build strategic partnerships that led to sales and market expansion.
