Using this solution, the business processed approximately $25,000,000 in written premium in one year. • Help lead the transformation from Waterfall to Agile/Scrum to Extreme Programming methodology. o Collaborated with the business product owner to create the first prioritized backlog o Worked side by side with the first Scrum Master on how to run Sprint Planning, daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives. o During the period of transition, met with managers of the Scrum team members to educate them on the methodology and the impact to the expectations of the Scrum team members.

• Managed team of DBA’s, providing support to all application teams within GAIG IT Division. • Managed a team of IT professionals, supporting the FileNet product and supported applications and users. • Led efforts to merge multiple Cognos installations together into a single enterprise managed installation. • Took on the additional responsibility for managing the Informatica product and consolidating installations. • Responsible for an annual budget of including license and support for DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, FileNet, Cognos and Informatica products.

• First Database Administrator at GAIG, quickly assumed responsibility for the entire DB2 product across multiple LPARs on an IBM Mainframe. • Created databases for application teams, established security and data backup procedures, and creating and upgrading DB2 subsystems. • Developed and successfully executed offsite Disaster Recovery procedures. • Provided support and set standards for other DBAs at GAIG.

• Created new ADIS (Automated Draft Issuance System) for Claims processing, including some of the first command level CICS programs at GAIG. • Designed the Claims PIF Index, allowing indexing of PRO policy and claim data which had previously not been possible.
