I was training coordinator at the Alachua County (FL) Crisis Center from 1996-2001. I now work as an individual therapist & Peer Services coordinator at UFCWC. That role includes provision of rights-based, trauma-informed professional training & consultation (in mental health recovery/reclamation & working w/individuals facing suicide danger) & co-facilitation of peer support groups (including Intentional Peer Support, Wellness Recovery Action Plan, & Experiential Peer Support, incorporating Hearing Voices Movement values & training). I also engage w/ students in peer services consultation sessions (e.g., addressing informed consent, non-consensual-intervention trauma, & human rights/service-user movement perspectives on suicide danger & non-consensus states).
