Manager for small team of engineers to support FEA and CFD needs for the OEM Motorsports Turbocharger applications. Single point of customer contact and lead engineer for start up of the Ferrari Formula 1 turbocharger development. Lead a small team of engineers to develop a race winning and reliable electrically compounded turbocharger from a clean sheet design under extreme timing and quality pressures. Heavily concurrent engineering required close understanding of customer engine thermodynamics and how turbocharger design integrates into the complex system.Accomplishments:- Achieved world class component efficiency and mass for novel electrically compounded F1 turbocharger- Zero failures on race car (plenty in test and development)- Lead design of aerodynamic components, system architecture, integration with customer power unit, and program production and testing needs- Professional Award: Honeywell “Fast and Right” award for launch of 2014 F1 turbo
