Detective Sergeant (Homicide)
Led and supervised a squad of detectives responsible for the investigation of homicide, attempted homicide, cold case homicide, suspicious deaths, officer-involved shootings/police use of force, felony assault, kidnapping, child abduction, missing persons, extortion, and sensitive investigations. Recruit Training Supervisor
Provided leadership and supervision to sworn and civilian personnel assigned to train police recruits during a 26-week basic recruit academy. Graduated 127 officers, or 18.5% of the sworn workforce. Coordinated and managed the development of training, logistics, and P.O.S.T. compliance towards sworn basic recruit academies. Participated as a member of the Colorado P.O.S.T. Curriculum Committee and made recommendations to the P.O.S.T. Board. Conducted research and made recommendations on best training practices. Detective Sergeant (Narcotics)
