Jim Schmid is the founder and Managing Director of ResX, PC. He specializes in providing expert testimony on fraud and commercial damages involving intellectual property, lost profits, construction claims, construction fraud, post acquisition disputes and business valuation. Additionally, he provides construction contract audit services and conducts construction fraud investigations. Jim was the partner in charge of Grant Thornton LLP’s (“GT”) Michigan Forensics and Valuation practice and the National Leader of GT’s Construction Forensics Services practice, until his retirement from the GT partnership in 2013.
