Includes 89th percentile in effectiveness and 91st percentile in efficiency.• Increased caregiver engagement from 3.98 to 4.04 in 2022, with 53% Team Index 1 and significantly improved safety culture at 75th percentile nationally. • Finished 2022 with $715M NOI, $94M favorable to target, inclusive of all hospitals and ASCs. • Exceeded 2021 EBIDA target (SBC Acute) by $315M with essentially break-even FTE performance. YTD October 2022 performance in Canyons is $74M favorable EBIDA variance, $14.5M favorable salary variance and 35 FTE favorable variance. • Reorganized Canyons Region Acute services into 4 submarkets with market presidents leading the three largest markets. Established Market Operations Coordinating Councils in collaboration with ambulatory services to align acute and ambulatory care delivery and position each market to transition to value based care. • Successfully consolidated Park City Hospital and Heber Valley Hospital boards into a single Wasatch Back governing board, matching the model in other markets and effectively aligning governance of two previously competing facilities.

• Created Intermountain Ambulatory Surgery Centers division with dedicated leadership structure, 6 facilities in operation, 4 new facilities scheduled to open in 2023, and 9 more in development across region. • Initiated Vision 2030, a long-term strategic plan for the enhancement of quaternary and tertiary services at flagship Intermountain Medical Center and the redevelopment and transition of LDS Hospital to a downtown location. • Opened Spanish Fork Hospital, a 40-bed community hospital in the fastest growing area of Utah County and received board approval to build 2 neighborhood hospitals in Hurricane and Saratoga Springs, Utah. • Acquired 30 acres in Ephraim, Utah with plan to relocate and rebuild Sanpete Valley Hospital to more strategic aligned community in central Utah.• Led continued growth in telehealth services achieving 91% growth over two-year period with 47 new service contracts in 26 facilities. Also opened 13 new outreach clinics in same time period. • Sourced Classic Air Medical acquisition and was executive lead to close deal and oversee integration with existing Life Flight services creating an integrated air ambulance leadership team. Acquisition added $21M EBIDA to system on annual basis. Led development of 4 new air ambulance bases in 3 states.

System accountability for growth and development in 8 state region, local and national outreach, patient placement, transfer center, Life Flight air ambulance service, and all telehealth services. • Restructured telehealth services across system, including establishing new name (Connect Care and Connect Care Pro), creating a new organization structure with dyad leadership, and achieving 20% savings in labor expense. • Combined all telehealth services into newly renovated, state of the art centralized location and created one consolidated business unit and financial report. • Realized year-over-year telehealth volume increase of 40% for three years, signing 35 new service contracts with 19 partner facilities in an 8-state region. • Led the delivery and expansion of telehealth services through COVID crisis, realizing a 1000x increase in scheduled video visits, 247% increase in Connect Care visits, and a 228% increase in Connect Care Pro interactions. • Launched multiple new telehealth programs including asynchronous symptom checker, hospitalist service, infectious disease, outpatient behavioral health, remote patient monitoring, oncology and neurology services.• Orchestrated insourcing of patient transfer center and systemwide centralization of bed management function coordinating 62,000 patient transfers per year.• Partnered with clinical programs to establish 6 new outreach clinics (Liver, Cardiac, Bone Marrow, Kidney Services) with 10 more scheduled to open in the next year. • Completed analysis identified over $8 million in contribution to system resulting from telehealth and outreach investments and services. • Restructured national and local outreach teams, achieving a 20% savings in labor expense while increasing referrals in Intermountain core markets by 20% and national markets by 30% in 2019.• Increased Life Flight transfer volumes by 17% over 3-year period and added a new jet to fleet to provide long range transports.

Accountable for over 350 FTE’s and total annual operating budget of $88M.Vice President, Operations 2005 – 2007• Management responsibility included perioperative services, imaging, pharmacy, cardiac services, food and dietary services, environmental services, laboratory, facilities and maintenance, biomedical engineering, construction, security and parking. Executive sponsor for $135Mfacility expansion. • Collaborated with perioperative medical staff to redesign surgery block time resulting in a 12.5% improvement in operating room efficiency the first year. • Successfully led the $135M facility expansion project through rigorous 12-month City and State approval process, including meeting strict California state environmental impact and mitigation requirements.• Developed and implemented a 3-year, $22M financial improvement plan to prepare for new expansion. Reduced annual labor expense by $6.4M• Successfully managed negotiations for call coverage contracts for neurosurgery, orthopedics and anesthesia, increasing coverage and lowering annual stipend.
