Mr. Shepard concentrates his practice in estate and trust planning and administration as well as in all areas of civil litigation with an emphasis in estate and trust litigation, chancery litigation, business litigation, contract litigation, and real estate litigation. He has represented mortgage lenders in both affirmative and defensive litigation inclusive of matters involving lien validity, lien priority, easements , identity theft, home rescues, rescission , and fraud . Mr. Shepard has over thirty five years of experience representing individuals in personal injury law . In addition to arguing before the Supreme Court of New Jersey, Mr. Shepard appears before and in New Jersey Superior Court (Chancery and Law Divisions), New Jersey Superior Court (Appellate Division) as well as Federal Court in New Jersey. Mr. Shepard is also very active in our Commercial Real Estate Practice Area, inclusive of finance transactions, purchase, sale, refinance, mortgage closing, leases and related litigation. He regularly represents business entities and lenders in commercial real estate loan transactions .He is an active member of the community, serving as a Municipal Court Judge for Parsippany-Troy Hills during 1995. Mr. Shepard has also been an adjunct faculty member of Morris County College lecturing in the area of Business Law, has served as a member of the Boonton Township Board of Adjustment, and was a member of the Boonton Township Board of Adjustment and Planning Board.Mr. Shepard graduated with a B.A. from Rutgers College , New Brunswick, New Jersey in 1980 and graduated with a J.D. cum laude from New York Law School, New York, New York in 1983. He served as Law Secretary to Honorable Paul Bangiola, Superior Court of New Jersey from 1983 to 1984. He is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America as well as the Morris County, New Jersey State and American Bar Associations.
