Jim is a United States Golf Teachers Federation Level III Certified Instructor with 12 years of golf instruction experience. He was instrumental in developing the beginner, intermediate, junior and high school golf instruction lesson programs and the Coyote School of Golf and Family Fundamentals lesson formats at Coyote Run. Prior to his experience at Coyote Run, he was a boys golf coach at Homewood- Flossmoor High School for 5 years until his retirement from H.F. in 2005.JIm is an enthusiastic instructor who enjoys the opportunity to teach the fundamentals of golf while emphasizing the most important goal of all, which is to have fun playing this great game.In 2013, Jim became certified as a US Kids Golf Coach. He has successfully organized and coached a US Kids Golf camp and he is committed to providing the best possible instruction to young players using the US Kids Golf model. Jim has a Bachelors Degree in Education and Special Education from Illinois State University and a Masters Degree in Supervision and Instruction from Chicago State University. His career in public education spanned a total of 38 years.Jim is a member of the United States Golf Association and the Chicago District Golf Association.
