Recently completed a project for the City of Bedford. Resulting in a full size bronze statue of National Baseball Hall of Famer and Bedford resident, Elmer Flick. The statue is on Bedford Town Square. A fiberglass replica of the statue is currently on display at The Baseball Heritage Museum, located at League Park.

Performed new EDI setup using Sterling Commerce software including all maps and scripts. Used multiple VANS (Sterling, Advantis) as well as establishing direct connections with customers.

Consistently performed at a high level on multiple projects, including:Lotus Notes Rollout – Started as Desktop Engineer on multiple site projects. Performance earned promotion to Lead Engineer role.POS Installation Lead – Requested by National Project Manager to be trained as Site Lead for 1700 location POS Rollout, managing site and crew.Kiosk Rollout Lead – Managed Help Desk crew of 6 in supporting Kiosk installations in 700+ CopyMax stores.Active Directory Rollout – “Pilot Tech”, providing scripting / testing of documentation as well as Field upgrade of Win 95/98 machines to Windows 2000 w/ Active Directory.

Responsible for daily operations of 30 Retail Stores in 5 States. Duties included maintaining networks at all 30 stores, making sure that retail software was functioning properly, collection and processing of POS data, weekly and monthly reports, off hours and weekend support, all communications, and computer repairs including travel to remote sites when required. Implemented / performed remote system changes using PCAnywhwere. Created monthly e-mail blasts to over 75,000 registered customers.Managed / delivered semi-annual computer training for all store managers in classroom setting, both through complete package and in a Q&A format. Developed PowerPoint presentation on In-store training and phone support for all operational questions, from hardware issues to RetailPro software.

Key member of 4 person team that converted outdated EDI Environment using GENTRAN Basic to GENTRAN Mentor/Server as an Outsource for the Sealy Mattress Company. Project included:Full-blown implementation of Server using SQL Scripts, Data Managers, Beeper Scripts, Job Scheduling, and FA Reconciliation. Personally worked with Sterling communications technicians on setup of 56K-lease line. Traveled to Canadian Sites for setup and support of new Standalone EDI Systems using GENTRAN Director. Primary mapper for all required EDI documents.

Responsible for writing of all EDI Programs, Maps, SQL and UNIX Scripts in a very sophisticated Vendor Managed Inventory System. Maintained EDI Budget and Coordinated activities of other programmers working on EDI related projects. This was a very highly visible position in a business that required cutting costs wherever possible.
