Responsible for the Brillion Engage product software development team. Engage is a SaaS customer engagement platform for electric/gas utilities. The platform delivers bill explanations, bill predictions and energy savings tips all via a hyper-personalized video. By using video instead of text in an email, Engage customers see consistent 4 to 5 times industry average engagement rates.

Apogee Interactive provides cutting-edge customer engagement and energy efficiency software tools to over 650 electric and gas utilities. The applications are hosted in AWS and written in ASP.net. Historically Apogee provided white labeled, online energy efficiency calculators. In order to drive more value and traffic to the Apogee tools, I led the development of a new customer engagement product. The customer engagement product creates hyper-personalized videos. These videos included personalized bill explanations, bill predictions, high bill alerts and energy saving tips for utility customers based on the customers energy usage patterns, demographic data and past interactions. Led Apogee to a successful private equity acquisition.

Led all technology decisions and software development efforts for a PCI-compliant private cellular network used primarily for secure financial transactions. Developed and implemented critical DevOps infrastructure for network provisioning, billing systems, customer portals, and fulfillment, which streamlined operations and improved service delivery.

Provides security policy enforcement software that safeguards the integrity of network asset configurations. It provides organizations with technologies for automated change validation, continuous rogue device discovery, file integrity monitoring, and automated compliance assessment and reporting.

Led the development and revitalization of RemoteWare, a critical software product that streamlined business data exchange and reduced ownership costs for distributed POS and kiosk computers, supporting a customer base of over 900 clients. Successfully stabilized the product through targeted service pack releases, preventing significant revenue loss and saving the company millions in maintenance costs, which strengthened customer retention and satisfaction. Directed a team of developers in maintaining and enhancing RemoteWare, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality features and improvements that met the evolving needs of the customer base.

Directed the end-to-end development of a next-generation Quality Monitoring System for Call Centers, overseeing five development teams (30 software engineers) from requirements gathering through quality assurance, resulting in a comprehensive software suite that improved call center performance monitoring. Successfully guided the creation of a product that captured both phone conversations and agent screen activity, enabling detailed call playback for quality assurance, significantly enhancing the ability of clients to monitor and improve customer service.

Served as the technical leader and chief architect for a startup software company, driving the concept development, market research, system requirements, and architecture design of a groundbreaking multimedia record and replay system for call logging. Architected a scalable, distributed multimedia recording system leveraging Windows, TCP/IP sockets, and off-the-shelf hardware, capable of capturing voice, video, and data simultaneously to a single tape, delivering a comprehensive and versatile solution for customers.
