Provided contract support to the Air Force via tele-commuting for a system that tracks Department of Defense long-haul communication funding and circuits. Within my first year, I re-wrote the Visual FoxPro CGI web site to ASP.Net. The next effort involved normalizing the data store and moving it to SQL Server, along with the necessary software changes. The final project involved re-writing the Windows-based system to ASP.Net. I established the architecture separating presentation from business logic and data access and lead the re-design to fit this model.

Project Lead (Aug 2000 – Jan 2002)Directed team of 10 engineers in delivering a new dynamic page delivery system in less than 12 months. System provided real-time pricing and verbiage changes while able to support over five million page requests per day.Marketing Applications Team Lead (Nov 1999 – Aug 2000)Led team of five engineers responsible for automation of marketing efforts including targeted emails, web site traffic analysis, and comparison-shopping feeds.Internet Software Developer (May 1999 – Nov 1999)Primary developer for the auction site, providing around the clock support. Delivered solution to highlight hottest selling auction lots, increasing margin by 2-3 points.

TCOSS Team Leader (Nov 1996 – May 1999)Responsible for maintaining the Telecommunications Certification Office Support System, an application used to order and track all Department of Defense long-haul telecommunications. Implemented MS SQL Server database to store worldwide data, accessible from all installations. Led team of eight to a new Internet based business process using dynamic pages.TCOSS Senior Analyst (Jan 1992 – Nov 1996)Automated TCOSS message traffic with intelligent routing to account managers. Developed user interface allowing 350 users simultaneously access to over 2 gigabytes of data. Optimized architecture and data structures, reducing data access from minutes to seconds. Expanded system to three sites for use throughout the Department of Defense.

Senior Missile Analyst (Nov 1989 – Jan 1992)Advised management of new user requirements, suggested solutions, and projected cost. Authorized all data structure changes and coordinated the required software changes. Converted database retrieval using relational SQL interfaces to underlying network structures. Redesigned system allowing a 30% code-base reduction with no loss of features.Configuration Management Programmer (May 1988 – Nov 1989)Reviewed user requirements for completeness, ensured quality standards, and verified test plans confirmed completion of requirements. Developed PC to mainframe communication software to automated testing and reporting.
