Founding engineer for eBay Now building the product from an "napkin idea" to fully functional prototype, private alpha then scaled generally available retail delivery service.Hired and managed engineering team working to rapidly progress the eBay Now paltform while maintaining a rigorous development cycle. Ultimately built out eBay Now into the core eBay service in less than 3 years working closely with most eBay engineering teams.Previously worked on merchant acquisition APIs and front-end projects for the eBay Local platform involving development on every layer in the stack.

Directly managed small team of skilled engineers responsible for entire Mammoth web presence with focus on e-commerce. Still served as lead developer on the e-commerce platform and many marketing initiatives.

Built E-Commerce system from the ground-up invoking several 3rd party APIs in C# with a rich AJAX frontend and UX. Built and maintained several high-availability clustered environments for production, staging and development with both physical and virtual hardware. Worked primarily with in C#, Windows, Linux and MSSQL.

Aided primary full-time system administrator in advanced maintenance tasks on the high-load high-availability MySQL database behind all GSN.com web content.

Was brought on to manage the task of rebuilding the current codebase into a more modular platform. Served as a lead developer on the "back office" portion of the core product. Aided in development of simple Point Of Sale interface on top of back office components. Developed and designed entire streamlined call center interface from start to finish. Was lead engineer behind acquisition of Visa VITAL certification for credit card merchant gateway built in-house.

Led development, UI/UX and design on custom client-branded interface builder feature. Built custom report building and user registration features for online credit card merchant account management with in-house gateway. Led engineering on custom client implementations and APIs for customer access. Top-tier technical support, custom implementation support and sales and GTM motions.

Provisioned and managed large number of RedHat, Debian, etc. dedicated servers. Ran on-call and NOC duties. Was primary technical contact for several high-profile dedicated server clients. Lead engineer on several proprietary web applications to help clients manage dedicated and virtual environments. Lead front-end engineer and designer on client contract work, external web services and in-house applications.
