Jim Boguslawski has been promoted to Director of Raw Material Procurement and Strategic Projects for GELITA USA effective August 13, 2012. Jim has thirty-two (32) years of gelatin experience and for the past six (6) years has served as Plant Manager of the GELITA USA, Chicago facility. Jim has held progressively responsible positions throughout his years of service with GELITA, including Energy Manager, Plant Engineer and Project Engineer responsible for construction of the facility in 1980. Jim is a graduate of Purdue and Lewis Universities with degrees in Industrial Supervision and Management. In this role Jim will be responsible for strategic sourcing of bone, hide, and pork skins to meet gelatin manufacturing requirements.
