As project manager, I design, develop and implement state-of-the-art web based software applications that grow and enhance the GIS and E-Services capabilities of the County through the integration of modern web and location based technology platforms (GIS) that align with the County's vision for innovation and transparency, leading to interactive constituent engagement and optimized internal business workflows. I maintain and enhance existing software applications and websites. I design data workflows to perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) on geospatial data sets. I coordinate and lead the specification, design, development, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance and documentation of highly complex web based software solutions integrating GIS capabilities that work on mobile devices and desktop browsers. I create high quality UI/UX (User Interface/Experience) solutions that enhance the experience of businesses, citizens and internal users that interact with the Department through our various web applications and website. I maintain expertise in GIS and Web related software and technologies by experimenting and combining these in creative and innovative ways to meet business needs, including UI/UX design, software development and GIS tooling, automation scripting, object oriented programming, process improvement and location based APIs. I demonstrate and provide training to County staff, local business groups, and other agencies showcasing the County's GIS applications.
