I am a senior Geologist with over 30 years of experience in the mining and exploration industry. I have worked on projects on five continents, both mining and exploration, aimed at many commodities including gold, silver, diamond, coal, uranium and PGE. My base metals experiences include copper, nickel, zinc, tin and tungsten. Much of my career has been spent in remote regions around the world, both in mining and exploration. My mining experiences include strip mining, alluvial, shrinkage, over and underhand cut and fill, conventional longhole as well as open stoping and sub-level cave/shrinkage.I have conducted property evaluations and fair market valuations, site inspections and safety audits. I have run desk top studies of potential properties and managed grassroots and brownfields exploration, mapping and sampling, drilling and trenching, resource modelling and calculations through to production decision making. My experiences have enabled me to become a reliable, solid team leader. My strengths include gathering and analyzing large amounts of data, and presenting them on a Corporate level to the top decision makers in the company and industry. Running departments and projects with limited resources has taught me how to keep costs down while keeping many balls in the air at the same time. I really enjoy the challenges of project management and team leadership. I excel at mentoring and training my crews regardless of the nation or language spoken. I am fluent in English, and speak passable French and Spanish. Sometimes you just have to sit down with them and draw pictures if you can’t communicate well together verbally!I believe very strongly in maximising the value of a property by putting as much of the budget as possible into the ground work. Time and again, my entrepreneurial approach to project management has resulted in maximum returns for dollars invested in the work.I can be reached directly at jamesbryce@hotmail.com
