As a Vice President at AEM Corporation, Jim leads a division that supports corporate, business development, and operations efforts with a focus on education data and data systems. With over 15 years of experience leading non-profit and for-profit teams, he manages a portfolio of more than 60 million dollars in grants and contracts, and empowers education stakeholders with appropriate use and application of data to meet the existing and emerging needs of all educators and students.Jim is passionate about pursuing the art of supporting individuals and teams in their quest for meaningful opportunities for expression and tangible outcomes of success. He embraces the ever-present force of change and risk and wrestles for solutions that propel forward. Jim has contributed to the development and implementation of national data standards including CEDS, Ed-Fi, and SIF interoperability solutions, the redesign of technical assistance for major US Department of Education grant programs, and the design and delivery of new technology tools utilized by over a hundred agencies and organizations. Jim is also energized by helping people to think and grasp through the meaningful conveyance of ideas and concepts, and has delivered hundreds of presentations and collaborated on large-scale design and dissemination efforts.
